Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes First Player To Win 3 Golden Boots

The Golden Boot is awarded to Europe´s Leading scorer.  Cristiano Ronaldo has now set a new record for becoming the first player in history to win the award three times.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez finished the season tied with 31 goals, however Cristiano Ronaldo achieved his season tally with less games played.  Cristiano Ronaldo played 30 games this season, whilst Suarez played 33.
