Rumour Of Cristiano Ronaldo´s World Cup Being Over

An online news agency report stating that Portugal team doctor,José Carlos Noronha had warned Cristiano Ronaldo to remove himself from the World Cup or face a career ending injury, had Real Madrid brass up in arms.

The report coming out of "El Confidencial" stated that the doctor had told Ronaldo that he risked injuring his knee beyond repair if he played.  This report, however has been denied by Portugal´s team physician.

Real Madrid has reportedly made statements that they did not want Cristiano to continue playing in this world cup.  Ronaldo has made a public statement saying that the one who has the final say on whether he plays or not is him.

Cristiano Ronaldo´s Bet With His Brother

 
Cristiano and his brother Hugo had a bet that was set before the Champions League final in Lisbon. His brother promised that he would quit drinking alcohol if Real Madrid won the Champions League. In his embrace with his brother Hugo at the end of the game, Cristiano told his brother that he had won the Champions League and that it was time that he stopped drinking.

Hugo Aveiro confirmed on his facebook page that he is now in rehab. All the best!

For the second time in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed another Champions League trophy with Los Blancos.  The first was won with Manchester United back in 2008.

Cristiano also has set the standard high in goals.  He ended his Champions League tally with 17 goals in 11 games.  This title will most likely last for many years to come.

Congratulations to Real Madrid on winning their 10th Champions League title.
